1. The Didim Outbound Samos (Sisam) Island Tour is a full-day excursion from Didim that takes you to explore the enchanting Samos Island—also known as Sisam Island. This tour offers a unique blend of ancient legends, breathtaking landscapes, and rich cultural heritage, including visits to historic sites associated with Pythagoras and the goddess Hera.

1. During the tour, you will have the opportunity to visit key attractions on Samos. Highlights include exploring the village named after Pythagoras with its dedicated statue, visiting the town center and church, touring the magnificent Hera Temple, and, if available, exploring additional sites such as the Timios Stavros Monastery. You may also experience local pottery shows, capture stunning photos at Potami waterfalls, and enjoy a wine tasting session at a traditional winery like Kondeika.

Since Samos Island requires a visa, it is crucial that you use the same travel document (passport or ID card) you used to enter Turkey. All passport and check-in procedures are completed at the international terminal. The ferry crossing takes about 1 hour and 15 minutes, so be prepared with your travel documents and arrive at the port well in advance.

1. Your tour begins with a comfortable door-to-door transfer from your hotel in Didim to the ferry port in Kuşadası. The meeting point is typically at your hotel’s lobby, where our staff will ensure a smooth pickup. Upon return, you will be collected from the designated drop-off point at the port for your transfer back to Didim.

It is recommended to bring your valid passport (or ID card) along with any required electronic visas, as well as comfortable walking shoes, a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen. Additionally, bring a camera or smartphone to capture memorable moments, some cash or a credit card for personal expenses, and any necessary medications.

The tour includes an air-conditioned bus transfer from Didim to the ferry port, a 45-minute ferry journey to Samos Island, and a full-day guided tour with free time for independent exploration. The itinerary covers important sites like the UNESCO-listed Pythagoreion and Hera Temple. Please note that additional transfer fees may apply for hotels outside central Didim, and there is a 10€ port fee included in the price.

Payment is made in cash on the day of the tour—no credit card or deposit is required. For cancellations made after the initial reservation, a medical certificate is required or 50% of the tour fee will be charged. No refunds are available for cancellations within 24 hours of the tour.
