After 45 minutes we will be at Güvercinada Castle, which is the symbol of Kuşadası. It was built in the 10th century and was used by both the Byzantine and Ottoman Empires. Having been renovated, the castle is well worth visiting. Afterwards, we will go back to the bus and drive to the top of the city, which is called Sevda Tepesi.
Sevda Tepesi has stunning views, so after some time for taking photos and videos from there we will proceed to the Kaleici (the old city), where you can see many hidden ruins and narrow streets. You will be overwhelmed by the small, beautiful shops, cafés and restaurants. Then we will walk to Mehmet Paşa Kervansaray (Caravansarai), which is also said to be the first Landmark and one of the symbols of Kuşadası.
Even though now it is used as a Hotel, it hasn't lost any of its historical value since the 13th century. After Kervansaray we will have our lunch. The restaurant where we will have our lunch is located right in the middle of everywhere. So, you will have the other half of your day free time for shopping at the Grand Bazaar and the Port.
