Overview:

This is a day tour to the heart of the history with a personal tour guide in a luxury vehicle. Visit Pergamon; one of the seven churches mentioned in the book of Revelation, Asclepion; The Pergamum God of Health and Acropolis. Enjoy the enchanting view from the top of the mountain. Learn history about early Christians from your expert local guide. This is a Private Tour (The vehicle solely reserved for your use) and flexible. Its always up to you to modify your itinerary according to your travel preferences. Skip-The-Line Tickets, Lunch in the local restaurant provided.

Program:

According your private tour pick up time, meet with your guide and start your full-day tour. First visiting place is Pergamum; When John wrote his Letter, Pergamum had been a capital city for almost four hundred years. After the mythical times, Pergamum had been the scene of several cultures, ranging from those of the Stone and Bronze Ages until the Archaic and Classical Periods. Among the temples were palaces, agora’s and Asclepion, which were constructed in the course of one century, belonged the big Zeus Altar and the Parchment Library. There you explore the impressive Acropolis, the actual ancient city and see the Altar of Zeus which is mentioned as the throne of Satan, Temple of Trajan and the thirds biggest Library of antiquity.

After Lunch, we will continue to Asclepion; which was known under the name of "The Pergamum God of Health." Asclepios the deity health and medicine served the people for several hundred years; thus making Pergamum a medical centre of very great importance. Famous medical Scholars, like Hippocrates and Galen, were born in Pergamum and worked there.

Note: Your guide will have pre paid Skip-The-Line tickets for each site to avoid long ticket queues. The entrance fee used can

be paid to the tour guide cash in Dollar, Euro or Turkish lira.
