Overview:

Spend a day in one of the most popular Greek Islands. Walk on the cobblestone paths, Take photos of typical Greek houses and churches, experience shopping with the locals, taste amazing foods from Greek cuisine in the local restaurants within the incredible Aegean sea view.

Program:

Upon pick up from your hotel you will be transferred to Kusadasi port. Board on boat after passport controls and depart for Samos Island. After 1hr 20 mins journey you will arrive in Vathy port. Samos is a Greek island in the eastern Aegean Sea, South of Chios, north of Patmos and off the coast of Asia Minor from which it is separated by the 1.6-kilometre (1.0 mi)-wide Mycale Strait. It is also a separate regional unit of the North Aegean region, and the only municipality of the regional unit.

In ancient times, Samos was a particularly rich and powerful city state particularly known for its vineyards and wine production. It is home to Pythagorean and the Heraion of Samos, a UNESCO world heritage site that includes the Eupalinian aqueduct, a marvel of ancient engineering. Samos is the birthplace of the Greek philosopher and mathematician Pythagoras, after whom the Pythagorean theorem is named, the philosopher Epicurus, and the astronomer Aristarchus of Samos, the first known individual to propose that the Earth revolves around the sun. Samian wine was well known in antiquity, and is still produced on the island.

After a leisurely day, be ready at Vathy port at 5pm to return back to Kusadasi. Upon arrival at Kusadasi Port, you will be transferred to your hotel.

To enter Samos, it is of utmost importance to use the same travel document (passport or ID card) with which you entered Türkiye. If you show a different document, the border guard will not allow you to leave Türkiye for Samos or any Greek Island you are wanting to visit. The child's age is calculated based on the year of birth documented in the passport. Passport and ticket check-in takes place at the international terminal. Ferry cruise time: approx. 1 hour 15 mins to Samos.

On your return, once you have arrived back in Kusadasi Port and made your exit, our staff member, tour guide will be waiting for you with our company sign, ready to make your return.
